It’s been about 18 months since we tried anything new from Virginia’s Filibuster Distillery. Back in December of 2020 we reviewed The Boondoggler and their Straight Rye Whiskey, then in January of 2021 we reviewed their Dual Cask and Single Estate Straight Bourbon.
This time around, we’re trying their Bottled-In-Bond 5 Year old Bourbon. Here’s what they have to say about it:
Filibuster Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey is the result of our passion to create the ultimate bourbon. The term “bottled in bond” has long represented the highest quality Whiskey and our bourbon is no exception. This limited-release Bourbon is crafted using the finest Shenandoah Valley grains and water which represents Virginia in a bottle. (50% ABV)
