We’re always a little skeptical when we hear that a beer is light on calories, yet big on taste. You see, we’re not drinking to get drunk or even get too buzzed. We’re in it for the flavor! And a laugh.
The folks at New Holland Brewing, makers of seriously big beers like Dragon’s Milk, were kind enough to send us samples of a 3.7% ABV / 86 calorie beer that they call Lightpoint Functional White Ale.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
A functional white ale that offers a low-calorie option without compromising full craft flavor. Brewed with coconut water, raw honey and orange peel, this refreshing brew is best enjoyed with friends after a day of hard work and exercise.
