Philly’s Most Popular Street Vendors Compete for the 2015 Vendy Cup

WHAT: The Street Vendor Project presents the 5th Annual Philadelphia Vendy Awards benefitting The Food Trust and The Philadelphia Mobile Food Association. Since its inception, the Vendys have become a culinary staple showcasing Philadelphia’s best food trucks. In total, there will be 15 food trucks competing in the following categories, The Vendy Cup, Rookie of the Year, and Dessert. This year’s trucks include:

  • Foolish Waffles
  • Flying Deutschman
  • Mom-Mom’s
  • Butter Food Truck
  • The Mixin Bowl

• The 2015 Judges Panel
  • Jonathan Deutsch, Professor of culinary Arts and Food Sciences, Drexel University
  • Kristina Jenkins, Editor, UWishUNu
  • Bryan Mayer, Owner, Kensington Quarters
  • Jessica Moore, Founder, Philly CowShare
  • Brian O’Reilly, Slyfox Brewmaster

WHERE: John F. Kennedy Bridge, Philadelphia, PA (Steps away from 30th Street Station)

The main entrance to the event will be located at the start of the JFK Bridge (the closest intersection is JFK Bouvevard and Schuykill Avenue).

WHEN: Saturday, June 13, 2015, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
