Iron Hill King’s Gold American Pilsner Review

While we always enjoy a rich and roasty Stout or a bold and hoppy IPA, there’s something to be said about a crisp and clean Pilsner. Thirst quenching, refreshing, and highly versatile, you really can’t go wrong with a well crafted one.

Iron Hill, a local restaurant/craft brewery has recently released an American Pilsner called King’s Gold and they were kind enough to send us some samples.

Here’s what Iron Hill had to say about King’s Gold in a recent press release:

Iron Hill Brewery (Iron Hill) announces the release of King’s Gold, an American Pilsner with a smooth malt flavor and robust hop taste now available in 12 oz. six-packs in retail locations throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. King’s Gold (5% ABV) was the 2021 Great American Beer Festival gold medal award-winning beer in the American Pilsner category.

“Winning the American Pilsner category, out of 130 entries, representing Iron Hill is a huge honor and a dream come true,” explains award-winning brewer Peter Corbett. Canning our most recent award-winning beer to share with a wider audience only makes it more special!”

#1 out of 130 at the Great American Beer Festival is definitely something to brag about. To find out what WE thought of this GABF gold medal winner, click the play button on the following video:
