A few weeks ago, we were given a behind-the-scenes tour of New Liberty Distilling in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. During our tour, we experienced what’s usually experienced on a distillery tour, i.e. learned about the distillation process, walked through the production and aging facilities, and sampled some spirits. As an added bonus, we saddled up to the bar in their lounge/bar/tasting room and sampled all of the yummy concoctions that they use to make cocktails.

In addition to a wide variety of whiskeys and other spirits, New Liberty also makes a line of canned cocktails under their American Liquor Company (or ALCO for short) label. We reviewed several of their ALCO offerings a while back, but there was one that we didn’t get to sample. Orange Crush is its name.
