While many of our favorite bars are either closed or restricted to outside seating during the time of COVID, liquor store, and local breweries have managed to keep the brews and booze flowing to thirsty types such as ourselves. These unusual circumstances have led to a good bit of beer sharing amongst our small circle of friends. The Bavik Super Pils which is the subject of today’s video comes to us courtesy of our dear friend and beer hoarder/sharer, The Alemonger.
Bavik Super Pils is made by Belgium’s De Brabandere Brewery which was founded way back in 1894. Here’s what the brewery has to say about their Super Pils:
Bavik Super Pils obtains its unique taste and aroma from its exceptional brewing process. Our pilsner has not been diluted, we only use aroma hops, guarantee a long and cold maturation process, and pasteurization is out of the question. Those four elements result in this unique pilsner. Never compromise on taste!
While we’ve enjoyed many a well-crafted Pilsner over the years, this isn’t a style that we usually go out of our way for. To find out what we thought of Bavik Super Pils, click the play button on the following video:
