We sure seem to get a lot of Bourbon from the great state of Michigan to sample. Not a complaint. Just an observation. We say say this because the Bourbon we’re discussing in today’s video is from Holland, Michigan and it’s called Joseph Magnus Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Here are a few words about this spirit taken directly from the Jos. A Magnus Co. website:
A marriage of straight bourbon whiskey aged in white oak barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and cognac casks. 50% ABV
Since this brand is brand new to us, we had zero expectations going into this review. Click play on the above video to find out if this was a pleasant surprise or a mild disappointment.
