Mossburn Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Review


If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand and one times. The beauty of this side hustle of ours is that we get to taste interesting beverages from all over the world without ever leaving the relative discomfort of The Murder Table. And every so often, we don’t even have to go to the store to get these beverages because we occasionally have them delivered right to our front porch.

The subject of today’s review is one of those whiskies that landed on our front porch. It’s a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky called Mossburn. Here are a few words about their Speyside version:

A blend of Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskies which underwent a secondary maturation in Mossburn Cask Bill #2.

These were specially built Oloroso Sherry Butts with heavily charred virgin American Oak heads which enhance the richness, depth and spicy vanilla flavours.

Mossburn is new to us. It sounds tasty for sure and the packaging is great. To find out what we thought of it, click play on the following video:
